Convocation

Convocation is a recital attendance requirement for music majors and music minors. 

The objectives of the course are to:

• Expose students, through live performances, to a variety of musical genres, literature, media, and interpretive styles as models for their own playing, at both professional and peer levels.
• Provide performing experiences for music majors in studio classes, area recitals and convocation performances.
