Listening Resources
The Schuldt Music Listening and Resource Center is located online and in the Lionel Hampton School of Music. It is named for long-time music faculty member Agnes Crawford Schuldt, a music historian and pianist. The center provides listening stations for student and faculty use.
The Schuldt Music Listening and Resource Center also provides secure access to streamed listening collections (Listening Resources) for many music courses and studios.
The University of Idaho library contains the bulk of music resources at the UI. Frequently used items at the main library include:
• Reference works
• Books on music, music periodicals, and music scores
• Circulating CD collection
• Computer lab
• Inter-Library Loan service
• Professional library staff
The UI Library provides access to The Grove Music Online, the Classical Music Library, International Index to Music Periodicals, Naxos Music Library and Naxos Music Library-Jazz, among other resources.
