Vandal Marching Band
The Vandal Marching Band (MusA 119/319/519), directed by Spencer Martin, is open to all students during the Fall semester (no auditions required). The Idaho band has a reputation that extends far outside the Northwest. Over the years, it has performed for audiences at Idaho football games throughout the West, as well as at professional games in San Francisco, Vancouver, B.C., and Seattle. The group's rehearsals are geared to the busy student's schedule.
It is our practice to have the West's finest marching band with the minimum amount of rehearsal. Be assured that it is possible to be a member and get good grades, regardless of major. One feature that is particularly attractive to students is the awarding of scholarships for each student participating in the band. First year students will receive $300.00; students with two or more years in the band will receive $400.00.

AUDITION INFORMATION: Vandal Marching Band
Auditions are not required for instruments other than percussion. Percussion instrument placement auditions will be on the Wednesday before classes start. Exact time TBA. See the Marching Band website for more information.
