Vandaleers Concert Choir
The Vandaleer Concert Choir (MusA 116/316/516), directed by Dr. Michael Murphy, is open to all students by audition. Vandaleers performs classical music of all eras and genres, from Gregorian chant to contemporary choral works as well as folk songs and ethnic repertoire from the United States and around the globe. In addition to a regular campus concert schedule, Vandaleers customarily makes a concert tour in the Northwest region each year. Past concert tours have also taken the ensemble to Europe, South America, Washington D.C. and New York City.

Spring Semester - Auditions are by appointment with the director, Dr. Michael Murphy.
The Vandaleer Concert Choir is a select auditioned group that seeks musicians who are disciplined and punctual, and who possess excellent musicianship, reading ability, and leadership qualities.
Audition requirements include a prepared, short solo piece that demonstrates the applicant’s best level of technical and expressive ability. The solo should be secure enough to be sung a cappella. Additional audition components include sight singing and tonal memory. Auditions are by appointment only.
