Why I chose the University of Idaho

For me community meant everything and was a large deciding factor in choosing the University of Idaho. Becoming a Vandal was not just about choosing an education; it was about choosing how I would spend the next 4 years of my life and the experiences and memories I would make along the way. I knew that by becoming a Vandal I was not just becoming another student in a classroom. I was becoming part of the Vandal Family…I was joining the Vandal Nation.

What I like most about UI

I choose the University of Idaho for the reputation of excellence, but stayed because of how that excellence is represented in the actions of the students and faculty. My acceptance in numerous clubs and activities has allowed me to become more confident in my abilities. I have developed wonderful relationships with the faculty and staff on the UI campus. They have helped me gain valuable leadership skills and given me numerous opportunities to not only succeed, but to also overcome failures. I could not be more proud to be a Vandal.
