John Gray - Alumni Hall of Fame Recipient 2003

John O. Gray of Arlington, Va., is a 1949 graduate from the College of Business and Economics. Gray is a retired brigadier general of the U.S. Air Force. Gray spent more than 35 years serving his country in the U.S. Air Force. He is a former director of information for the Secretary of the Air Force in Washington, D.C., and also worked as a member of the U.S. Air Force Headquarters Command Air Reserve Policy Council. Gray also held the position of executive director of the Air Force Association, the largest organization supporting air power in the world. General Gray passed away in 2007 at the age of 90, and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
