Open to all majors, Ad Club is an accredited club of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). Ad Club is a student-run organization that advertises for local businesses within the community. Members find businesses that lack advertising, and provide full-service ads (creation, presentation and placement). Money raised from the advertising work goes to the club to support events for its members, such as job shadowing trips.
You don't need to be an advertising major to be in Ad Club!. We look for students with experience in business, public relations, event planning, economics, management, accounting, graphic design and creativity. One-time ($65) dues are required to join Ad Club within the first four weeks of joining, with at least 80% meeting attendance. You'll receive a membership card, membership into the national branch of AdClub and professional experience to add to your resume.

Open to all majors. The future of all things digital media is discussed and practiced here. If your interest is in television, movies, the Internet, production, commercials, documentaries, audio, video, Web design, animation, graphics, etc. - this is the place for you.

SPJ - Society of Professional Journalists, student chapter
The Society of Professional Journalists is the nation’s largest and most broad-based journalism organization, dedicated to encouraging the free practice of journalism and stimulating high standards of ethical behavior. The University of Idaho chapter works to uphold these standards. Members will have the opportunity to meet potential employers, learn about jobs and internships, listen to journalists speak about current issues, attend conferences and apply for awards.

UIPR - Public Relations Club
Members invite regional public relations and public information professionals to meet with the club to talk about the opportunities in the field today. The club also participates in job-shadow opportunities as well as assists with area public relations/media relations efforts.
