From Artistic Director Ann Hoste
You’re invited! Join us for a Diamond Anniversary Celebration!
For 60 years, Idaho Repertory Theatre has entertained audiences on the Palouse. To celebrate this landmark, we’ve planned an ambitious season of music and comedy. We’ve also invited professional theater artists to join us in this endeavor—members of Actors Equity, United Scenic Artists, the Stage Directors and Choreographer Union, and the Associated Designers of Canada.
Who’ll be joining IRT this season?
Cynthia White, a freelance stage director from Seattle, has worked with the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where she was Associate Director and Director of Play Development.
Stancil Campbell has major theatre credits in the U.S., Canada, Scotland, Ghana and Egypt. He has designed scenery and lighting for the Vancouver Playhouse, Toronto’s Center Stage, The Shaw Festival, The Cleveland Playhouse and the Colorado Shakespeare Festival.
R.L. Rowsey has worked as musical director and conductor for many Broadway national tours, including Fiddler on the Roof, Singing in the Rain, and Kiss of the Spiderwoman. Currently, he serves as the Artistic Director for the Sun Valley Summer Symphony School of Music.
Dan Kremer has appeared on stage as King Lear with the Utah Shakespearean Festival. He’s also played numerous lead roles at the Denver Center, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.
Why bring professional artists to Idaho Repertory Theatre?
In the world of theatre, union membership is highly selective. Professionals who belong to these national organizations are artists of the highest caliber. Idaho Repertory Theatre’s mission is to provide quality professional theatre and we’re excited to host these seasoned artists for our Diamond Anniversary. I hope you’ll join us!
