Kristi Overfelt is an Academic Advising and Retention Specialist in the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences. She has been teaching and advising students at the University of Idaho since 2007. Her research focuses on students on academic probation and disqualification and the first-year transition experience. She has developed a Student Success course for students on academic probation and those returning from academic
disqualification. Kristi has a passion for working with students who are undecided about their major, and loves to help them explore their future. Kristi lives in Moscow with her husband, and one out of five children left at home.
