English Graduate Guild

The English Graduate Guild (EGG) is a graduate student-led organization. We host a variety of events, both academic and social, that promote the study of literature, rhetoric, and academic studies at large. Our biggest academic events include the annual graduate conference and the colloquia series. The conference, which proudly hosts graduate students, regional and international alike, provides opportunity for students to share scholarship and for the University of Idaho’s students to gain valuable experience in conference organization. The colloquia series promotes M.A. students’ academic endeavors and provides a platform for graduate students to gain valuable feedback on their research. Additionally, an annual awards ceremony recognizes student and professor achievement.
