Jamaica moved to Moscow in 2008. In addition to teaching creative writing and technical writing courses, she has served as the nonfiction editor for UI's literary journal, Fugue, and works with the Writing Center. Previous professional experience includes working as an editor and writing consultant for science professionals. She'll complete her Creative Writing M.F.A. with an emphasis in creative nonfiction in the Fall 2012 semester.
