Jeff Nelson #32

Jeff Nelson played at Seattle University from 1997-2001, making him the last of the "Chieftains," who became the "Redhawks" his junior year.  Nelson was an All Conference Honorable Mention and second in his school's history in both three pointers in a season and in career.  After college, Nelson played and coached overseas in Germany and Austria from 2001-2004, followed by a three-year stint coaching basketball at Forks High School of Twilight fame.  Currently a mental health counselor at Monroe Corrections Complex, Nelson notes that, although he did not meet Sherman Alexie at Monroe CC, it does qualify him to play basketball with Alexie on a regular basis.
