David Thacker #32

Since his glory days as a bowl-cutted wonder on his junior high basketball team, David Thacker, 6’2”, has been developing an immunity to embarrassment by telling folks he is a poet. No, for real, he writes poems. And, at the University of Idaho, he teaches poetry (they pay people to do that!), along with other writing and literature classes. He looks forward to once again hearing the monikers “Thack-Attack” and “Throw-down Thacker” from the sidelines (it has been such a long time), though not “Thacknasty” or “Thunder(thighs) Thacker.”
