Cindee “Dee” Broughton divides her time between teaching international graduate students at the University of Idaho and working with beginning English students in Mexico. In summer, 2009, she directed the opening of a private English language school in Oaxaca. Her special interests in ESL professional-level research writing and pedagogical issues for non-native English-speaking teachers have resulted in the creation of new courses for international graduate students here at UI. She teaches first-year composition courses and offers both internships and a spring practicum in teaching first-year composition to graduate students in the MA-TESL program.
