Undergraduate Core Curriculum
The UI's Core Curriculum is at the heart of this broad university experience. Academic advisors help students select from several courses outside the academic major. Together, these are the classes known as the Core Curriculum.
Along with courses in their academic major, each student who attends the University of Idaho enrolls in:
- General Core Studies (18 credits)
- Communication (5-6 credits)
- Natural and Applied Sciences (7-8 credits)
- Mathematical, Computer and Statistical Sciences (3 credits)
