Moscow Community Chinese Language Courses

In 2004 linguist David Graddol said: "In the next decade the new 'must learn' language is likely to be Mandarin Chinese." Well, the future is here...Chinese is the fastest growing language in the world and each year more and more schools, universities and communities are making the effort to learn this important language. The University of Idaho Confucius Institute will be offering two sections of introductory Chinese language courses for interested business people and community members at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Sept. 6 to Dec. 1, 2016.

  1. Intro Chinese 1 will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 p.m.

  2. Intro Chinese 2 will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8 p.m.

Classes will be led by an instructor from the South China University of Technology.

Class fee is $50 per person. Students will pay instructor with cash or check on the first day of class. No experience with Chinese or other foreign languages is necessary to enroll. Class participants will receive a certificate of completion from the UI Confucius Institute upon successful completion of the course.
