Laura Thomas
Laura Thomas is the Educational Initiatives Coordinator for the School and University Partnerships Department at Right To Play Canada. Before starting with Right To Play in 2010, Laura received her BAH from Queen's University in Kingston, ON and worked for local non-profit organizations in Toronto which focused on social housing and community development projects. Since joining the Right To Play team, Laura has been responsible for supporting 25 national Right To Play university and college clubs, and was a coordinator of the inaugural Right To Play Global Youth Summit in Kigali, Rwanda, which hosted 50 youth from Canada, Mali, Liberia, Ghana, Benin and Rwanda; centered around leadership in Sport for Development and Peace, delegates left The Summit with personalized action plans for local community change.
