The University of Idaho Department Art annually invites students from each high school in the state of Idaho to participate in a professional exhibition at Ridenbaugh Hall Gallery on the UI campus. The exhibit is juried and cash awards are given to works of merit. This year's exhibit will again coincide with the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival when over 1,00 high school students are on campus. The Eleventh Annual High School Art Exhibition will be held February 14-23, 2002. An Awards reception will be held Thursday, February 21 from 4-6 p.m. The theme of this year's exhibition is "A World of Difference". All high schools will receive participation information in October and again in December. | |||||||||||
