PROGAM DEVELOPMENT

The conference is currently searching the world for speakers. We have already enlisted a number of informative presentations and searching for more. The program should be finalized by April 2004.

We are planning to cover topics on the latest developments on technology and markets. Fiber cement is experiencing substantial growth in many important markets around the world. This conference plans to examine what is happening.

IMPORTANT CONTACTS

A major part of the benefit gained from this conference is the opportunity to meet and contact key decision makers in the manufacturing and marketing these composites. You will learn through both formal presentations and individual contacts. Many such contacts occur during this conference and business networking is routine.

THE WORLD IN ONE PLACE

Fiber-cement and multiple other related technologies are extensively manufactured around the world. Manufacturers, potential customers, key suppliers and experts gather in this conference for a global meeting place to learn and develop business relationships. The conference makes every effort to facilitate these meetings and interactions.

COUNTRIES IN ATTENDANCE

During the last conference, we were delighted that we had representatives from more countries than in prior conferences.

Here is a listing of the 27 countries in attendance. In many cases, there were several top-level representatives from each of these nations:

Clearly, the conference provided an excellent opportunity for networking on a global scale. The value of the conference in terms of both new information and excellent networking is unsurpassed.

SPEAKERS AND EXHIBITORS WANTED

How are we addressing the demands of the market place? How are we dealing with the need for low cost raw material? What innovations are taking place in manufacturing?

A CORDIAL INVITATION:

Developing this international conference is a task that I personally enjoy doing. Since the inception of this series in 1988, we have seen much change in the field of fiber cement and related technologies. Substantial opportunities await those who keep up with happenings and make the needed decisions. A good place to find out the latest developments is by attending this once-every-two year conference. I invite you to join us in the beautiful city of Vancouver for 2 ½ days of learning, networking and fun.

Prof. Al Moslemi
Conference Chairman
