Helping Parents Help Their Children in Math

Dr. Julie Amador, assistant professor of mathematics education at University of Idaho Coeur d’Alene, is part of a research project focused on providing parents with tools to help their children in math. She put together a 16-minute video for parents in the Post Falls School District to see whether it helps them with math. Research showed that 49%t of parents in Kootenai County had trouble helping their children with math and science homework occasionally or often.

Watch the video below and read more about this exciting research in the Idaho Statesman.
