Certificate Students

We often get questions about which type of student Certificate students fall into -- undergraduate, graduate or non-degree seeker. Certificate students are classified by three categories...

1) Non-degree seeking, paying undergraduate rates
2) Undergraduate, paying undergraduate rates
3) Graduate, paying graduate rates.

Typically, 100-400 level courses fall under the category of undergraduate. 500-600 level courses are mostly graduate. This can provide a baseline guideline for determining your per-credit fee. If it is not clear, please contact an adviser, cdactr@uidaho.edu or (208) 667-2588.

Did you know? Students located outside of Idaho who wish to enroll in the Geographic Information Systems or Environmental Science Certificate may be eligible for an out-of-state tuition waiver.
