Lower division core classes are offered at North Idaho College. UI courses vary in delivery method, depending on the program the student creates with the assistance of an adviser.

This program is intended for students who present a curriculum not included among the ones listed in the catalog, provided the program is focused toward meeting the student's particular educational goal by combining the offerings of two or more major departments.

The program is normally developed and presented before the end of the second semester of the junior year or the time when at least 30 credits of the proposed program remain to be taken.

Potential areas of study include psychology combined with business, justice studies, communication studies or organizational sciences.
