About the Program

The Career and Technical Education program emphasizes practical application critical for success in public and private employment settings. The Bachelor's Degree program prepares you to teach secondary-level students technology skills associated with construction, manufacturing, communications, transportation, power and energy.

Students can earn up to 32 credits for technical career experience.  A portfolio documenting evidence of career experience and achievement will be submitted for evaluation during the students' final semester. These credits cannot be used to fulfill the residency requirement of 30 upper division credits from the University of Idaho.

A graduate program in Curriculum and Instruction is available and is designed with flexibility that permits each student to pursue an individual concentration, including Business and Marketing Education, Professional-Technical Education and Technology Education.
