WHY DID YOU WANT TO BE A CBE AMBASSADOR?
I wanted to be an ambassador for the CBE because I am passionate about what I am learning and the way I am being taught. My business classes make me excited and I apply what I learn to my every day experiences. Because of this passion and excitement, I want to let others know about this opportunity. I want them to have the same experience I am having. I am looking forward to helping potential students understand the class system and the culture of the university. Having a positive transition from high school to college will enhance a student’s learning and personal development for the rest of their lives, and I want to contribute to this experience. I would also like to share this opportunity with my old high school and pass on the U-Idaho legacy to students there as well.

WHAT HAS BEEN ON OF YOUR FAVORITE EXPERIENCES SO FAR IN THE COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS (CLASS, ACTIVITY, CLUB, STUDENT INTERACTIONS, ETC.)?
So far, my favorite experience in the CBE has been my classes, particularly Economics 272. I liked this class because it was my first introduction to economics and higher level business classes. I got personal help from my professor Jon Miller and made good use of his office hours every week. I liked the feeling of understanding difficult concepts and the realizing that this was how real life worked. I could see examples in every day life and was amazed that this was the same ideas and circumstances that were in my class. I think the reason this is my favorite experience is because it was the beginning of learning business for me. It started my enthusiasm for what would come next. The beginning of an adventure, I think is always the most memorable.
