WHY DID YOU WANT TO BE A CBE AMBASSADOR?
I aspire to the CBE Ambassador position because I love the CBE and the effort with which professors prepare their students for the real business world. When I came to the U-Idaho to first visit, not only was I impressed with the beautiful, technologically extravagant building, but I was taken aback by the individual attention that was shown by Dana Stover in presenting the CBE. I did not feel like another number that was being pushed through the recruiting system. Through my personal experiences, and my ability to convey them in a clear and simple manner, I believe I will be a great asset to the CBE Ambassador team.
WHAT HAS BEEN ON OF YOUR FAVORITE EXPERIENCES SO FAR IN THE COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS (CLASS, ACTIVITY, CLUB, STUDENT INTERACTIONS, ETC.)?
My favorite experience so far in the CBE is simply being a part of the family here and experiencing all that it has to offer. The professors truly care about your success. They want to talk with you and they want to see you achieve that next level of excellence — not only in grades or club activities but they also spur you on to great internship opportunities. They possibilities are endless. For example, being a part of Beta Alpa Psi is a refreshing experience in large part due to the importance that they put on being professional in everything you do and growing your networking opportunities. These experiences give us future professionals that one extra “step up” above the competition.
