Certificate Program
The 12-credit entrepreneurship certificate is open to any major on campus. The program is ideally suited for the non-business major who desires to learn the basics of starting a business. Students learn the basics of conducting a business feasibility analysis of a new technology idea or innovation or they can get hands-on assistance in writing a business plan for a potential start-up business in their respective professional field of study. The requirements for the certificate are:
- Business 414 - Introduction to Entrepreneurship (3 cr)
- Business 415 - New Venture Creation (3 cr)
- Accounting Course (choose 1)
- Accounting 482 - Enterprise Accounting (3 cr)
- Accounting 486/586 - Accounting for Management Decision Making and Control (3 cr)
- Accounting 582 - Enterprise Accounting (3 cr)
