Certification program

The 12-credit entrepreneurship certificate is open to any major on campus. The program is ideally suited for the non-business major who desires to learn the basics of starting a business. Students learn the basics of conducting a business feasibility analysis of a new technology idea or innovation or they can get hands-on assistance in writing a business plan for a potential start-up business in their respective professional field of study.

The requirements for the certificate are:
Business 414 - Introduction to Entrepreneurship (3 cr)
Business 415 - New Venture Creation (3 cr)
