The 60th Utility Executive Course is setting a record. Nearly 60 participants from 30 companies are attending the June 9-27 course that prepares industry leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to produce business results.
The worldwide-known course was created by the University of Idaho in partnership with industry. It provides an accelerated path for those interested in leadership and teaches the fundamentals to move in an executive direction. The first class of 33 attendees has grown into a sustainable partnership spanning six decades that has brought top faculty and participants to campus. UEC’s strong reputation has provided a dynamic environment where participants build networks and exchange ideas on best practices.
The course covers 25 topic areas over three weeks. Individuals from across the job spectrum are represented from the utility industry ranging from human resources and customer service to executive leaders and operations. For an overview of job functions, see the accompanying chart.
