Degree Prep The EMBA program is ideal for working managers and professionals on the executive track who want a quality graduate business degree without interrupting their careers. Our E.M.B.A. students are energetic and mature with a drive and ambition that separates them from the pack. Most candidates, but not all, have earned a bachelor’s degree and some have graduate or professional degrees in fields other than business administration. When you apply, you must submit a statement of support from your employer.
Sponsorship & Financial Aid Sponsorship
The University of Idaho Executive MBA Program is a rigorous 22-month graduate program in management designed for mature and experienced leaders. Using their award-winning approach to teaching and learning, College of Business and Economics faculty bridge the gap between academic theory and workplace practice. Interdisciplinary coursework builds understanding and gives participants the tools to create innovative strategies and tactics to manage and transform their organizations.

The Idaho Executive MBA Program is full time and AACSB accredited. Courses are taught in Coeur d’Alene once a month for three days (Thursday--Saturday). Full sponsorship accounts for 20% of our Executive MBA participants, and an additional 62% have partial sponsorship (ranging from 10-80%) from their companies. The participating industries include banking, education, engineering, gaming, government, manufacturing, medical, retail, and telecom. A typical participant has seven years of management experience and is 39 years old.

The Executive MBA Program encourages companies to give full or partial sponsorship to participating employees. To sponsor a high-potential employee is to invest in your company’s future. And there is no better way to ensure employee loyalty to your company—sponsored participants feel particularly valued and show an increased interest in the growth of their company.
