EMBA students during a class discussion

Student Experience

The Idaho MBA program launches the semester’s curriculum in the summer with an intensive week on the Moscow campus that is designed to provide you with a collegial, productive beginning to your MBA program. Executive speakers, workshops, and sessions will focus on group dynamics, internal and external analysis, decision making and critical thinking. During campus week, you will get acquainted with your cohort in the class and at the evening socials and activities. You will also have the opportunity to network with the cohort beginning their second year in the Executive MBA program.

“The Idaho EMBA program has helped me build a strong management skill set that has practical applications every day. The students are a stimulating mix of professionals from a variety of industries and disciplines, and I’ve learned as much from my classmates as I have from the faculty. The cohort has become a network of trusted colleagues who offer their unique insights whenever I need them.”
Bradley Slater, Assistant Plant Manager, Plant Marvel Laboratories
The Idaho Executive MBA weekend in Coeur d’ Alene starts each month on Thursday morning at 7:30 am and wraps up Saturday at 5:50 pm. Classes are held at the University of Idaho Harbor Center. Each day continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are provided. Your evenings are free to relax with the cohort over dinner, meet with your study group, or decompress with some exercise.

The EMBA program staff serves as liaison between you and the University, taking care of administrative and program logistics so you can manage your busy schedule and focus on your studies.

Each cohort is a diverse group of professionals who bring their unique talents and challenges to the classroom. Study groups work collaboratively to apply their learning and build leadership skills.
