Recruiting Resources

The Career Center can provide assistance in recruiting the right students for your internships. Our goal is meet the needs of students and employers by bringing the two together. Options to advertise your internship include:

  • Post your internship on Vandal CareerConnection. University of Idaho’s FREE online job/internship database.
  • Place an ad in the Argonaut, the UI student newspaper. Contact the Argonaut for pricing (208-885-7825 or advertising@sub.uidaho.edu).
  • Place an ad on the Flat Screen Announcement Boards located in the Idaho Commons building. http://www.sub.uidaho.edu/display or display@sub.uidaho.edu.
  • Utilize our Employer Services. Attend our Job & Internship Fairs, participate in on-campus interviewing and networking events, visit campus to meet with faculty and student clubs, or facilitate class presentations. Contact our Employer Relations team to learn more.
  • Contact Faculty/Staff in Academic Departments. Students often seek internship information from their academic departments, so it’s beneficial to announce opportunities and build relationships with internship coordinators in the academic majors for which you are recruiting. Contact the Career Center for a listing of internship coordinators.
