Support the Research and Extension Centers
The Idaho Agricultural Research and Extension Centers were created to improve the quality of life for Idaho's citizens, as well as families throughout the United States. Through the application of scientific research, the Sandpoint, Parma, and Tetonia centers provide valuable, practical agricultural knowledge. We are the beneficiaries of their work. The economic situation is well known. It affects all of us; however, the loss of even one research and extension center will affect this state and our communities. Not only would we lose access to valuable research, job losses would be inevitable. The University of Idaho is doing its best to keep our research and extension centers open, and we ask you to join us in this effort. If you are able, please contribute to one of the research and extension centers below. Support agricultural research in Idaho.
Sandpoint Research and Extension Center
Help the Sandpoint Research and Extension Center continue its focus on blueberry anticarcinogen research, commercial production of huckleberries and bilberries, development of edible-fruited honeysuckle, and tree research.

Parma Research and Extension Center
The Parma Research and Extension Center needs your help to further its exploration of fruit crop science (apples, grapes, peaches, nectarines, and alternative fruits), pest management, nematology plant pathology, and disease control.
|
With your help, the Tetonia Research and Extension Center will continue its study of how high-altitude and short growing seasons affect agriculture. Tetonia also produces foundation grain and potato seeds, which are sold to certified growers.
