"My experiences at UI this semester have been drastically different than past years. I had to move to Spokane, WA to finish my senior year in the Coordinated Program in Dietetics, which includes obtaining hundreds of hours of supervised practice and finishing five classes. The move to Spokane presented new challenges such as navigating through a larger city, not having a central campus close by to study at, as well as having only my classmates as friends throughout the year. However, I have experienced many projects in my classes as well as in my supervised practice that are integrated within the communities of Coeur d’Alene, ID and Spokane, WA. I also am looking forward to my clinical supervised practice within Sacred Heart Medical Center, which begins in November and carries on through the spring semester. All in all, this semester has presented many interesting challenges so far, but has proven to be a positive experience."
