Give To CALS

Why Do We Ask?

We ask you because you are the graduates and leaders in business who understand why the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Idaho is special. As most of you know, the percentage of our overall college operating budget is shifting as we continue to receive a smaller piece of the pie from the state. We cannot ask the students to make up all of the difference. As their fees increase, it is our responsibility to offer ever more generous scholarships and financial assistance.

That is where you, our graduates and friends, make such a difference. Please help us continue to offer world-recognized teaching, research, and extension programs in agriculture, community, human and rural development, environment and natural resources, food and nutrition, and life sciences.

Your commitment to keeping CALS strong and helping us compete as we continue to attract top students is going to be one of the main reasons why 30, 50 years and beyond, there will still be an amazing group of leaders who all were fortunate enough to experience the beginnings of their professional life at the University of Idaho.

Through involvement and charitable contributions from our graduates and friends, CALS has built a proud legacy of "giving back" that is envied across the University. Your gift is an investment in our people and the economy of Idaho and beyond. It’s a contribution to solutions that improve the health and safety of people, animals, and the environment.
