Student Life

Family and consumer sciences offers the Apparel, Textiles and Design club, Food and Nutrition club, Collegiate FCCLA and Phi Upsilon Omicron. These clubs and organizations offer students an opportunity to become more involved at the University of Idaho, build relationships with fellow students, and network with professors, potential employers and their community.

Students involved in extracurricular activities have the opportunity to travel, earn more scholarships and gain references from faculty. Students also develop leadership, communication and teamwork skills and receive professional experiences as they participate in club events and attend conventions and meetings within the industry.
