AVS Production Option
The production option emphasizes coursework in animal sciences, including reproduction, nutrition, growth and health. It also provides an understanding of business skills such as management, marketing, budgeting, and communication. This major will equip you to manage animals to produce meat, milk, and other products efficiently and to guide the daily operations of an animal facility such as a dairy, feedlot or ranch.
