Task Force Appointed to Review Animal Control

In response to actions of the University of Idaho to remove seven feral cats from campus this summer, President Chuck Staben has charged a task force with reviewing current practices and making a recommendation for policy or practice ensuring compliance with local and statewide authority. The task force consists of experts in animal science, agriculture, law and university facilities. This recommendation, due October 1, will be promptly reviewed and the approved action will be broadly communicated to faculty and staff. Read more
