Teacher Certification
To apply for Teacher Certification, please review the options below and contact Dr. Ben Swan. You may also view the Guidelines for Professional-Technical Certification, certification forms and state procedures.
Students who complete teacher education programs at the University of Idaho are eligible to receive the following certificates:
- Idaho Elementary School Certificate
- Idaho Secondary School Certificate
- Idaho Exceptional Child Certificate
- Idaho Professional-Technical Certificate
Additionally, students who complete the certification program in school counseling or school psychology qualify for the Idaho Pupil Personnel Services Certificate. Students completing a master's degree, specialist degree or doctorate in educational administration may qualify for an administrator's certificate.
