AEE Scholarship

The Agricultural and Extension Education Scholarship will provide financial assistance to deserving students with potential for success in the Department of Agricultural and Extension Education degrees programs. Temporary funding for these AEE scholarships is being made possible through the use of several sources of funding. The department is pursuing endowment funding for these scholarships.

Recipients must be enrolled full time and must be pursuing a course of study in the Department of Agricultural and Extension Education in the College of Agricultural Life Sciences at the University of Idaho during the scholarship period. Cumulative grade point average shall not be the primary basis for selection; however, recipients must have achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.

This scholarship will be available to full time undergraduate students of any class standing (including incoming freshmen) who are pursuing a bachelor of science offered through the Department of Agricultural and Extension Education in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.

The Agricultural Education and Extension Scholarship Committee may use its discretion in utilizing additional selection criteria in the selection process. This shall include, but not be limited to diversity, financial need, and involvement and/or leadership in university, college or community activities.
