College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) scholarships are available to any student with a declared major. New students are considered for merit scholarships when they submit their Application for Admission and the Application Supplement for Admission/Scholarships forms by February 15.
To be eligible for all federal financial aid, including need-based scholarships, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the federal processor by February 15. Continuing University of Idaho students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships. The FAFSA form is required to apply for scholarships that specify financial need.
To obtain information on FAFSA procedures, please call the University of Idaho Office of Student Financial Aid Services at (208) 885-6312 or 1-888-884-3246 (toll-free). The FAFSA application can be filed electronically at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The FAFSA also is available from high school counselors or University of Idaho Student Financial Aid Services.
