  • Biography

Allison Touchstone has made agricultural education her life’s work. Since her first involvement in Filer High School, she has worked toward becoming an advocate for agricultural education. As a result of the profoundly positive effect secondary agricultural education had on her life, Touchstone has set and accomplished three career goals:

      1. Become a secondary agriculture instructor
      2. Obtain the position of state supervisor for agricultural education
      3. Become a teacher educator in agricultural education

  • Touchstone taught secondary agriculture at Kuna High School for nine years and served as the Idaho State Supervisor for Agriculture and Natural Resources for three years. She then accepted a position at the University of Idaho in October, in 2008, as a teacher educator.

Touchstone looks forward to a long career with University of Idaho as a teacher educator in assisting with creating the future of agricultural education. She and her family currently reside in Kuna where they are active in their community and local church youth ministries.
