Tailor Your Education

At CALS, gain an education as unique as you.

  • Select an option. All majors allow you to fine-tune your course work with either an option and/or the flexibility to select specific courses that reflect your interests.
  • Take outside courses. Depending on your career goals, select subjects that round out your education; take courses offered in other majors, other colleges, and even other universities. For example, take courses in communications, journalism, business, or education.
  • Use activities. Many students select educational experiences outside the classroom to tailor their education and boost employability. You might volunteer, study abroad, or conduct specialized research.
