Research & Outreach

Our faculty members are leading exciting new research that is defining the future of the rapidly evolving field of virtual technology and design. Current research activities and interests include:

• Defining the scientific language of virtual design. 
• Examining the use of virtual gaming tools and motion capture to train medical professionals and emergency first responders.
• Creating virtual classrooms to educate teachers located throughout the state of Idaho.

Our students and faculty are also actively engaged in community outreach and frequently partner with businesses, organizations, and university departments to provide virtual design services to the community.
