Don Brigham

I am a landscape architect with over 29 years of experience designing spaces for the enjoyment of people. My award-winning firm is headquartered along the Washington-Idaho border from which I serve clients throughout the northwest. Since 1984, I have served as Adjunct Faculty in the Landscape Architecture Department at the University of Idaho. In this position, I enjoy sharing my knowledge with the students in Plant Materials Design, Professional Office Practice, and Golf Course Design. I have written over a dozen articles for Landscape Architecture magazine, covering topics such as Gardens for the Senses, Invasive Plants, and critiques of built projects. I have served as Trustee for eight years of the Idaho-Montana Chapter of ASLA and then had the honor of serving as Vice President of Information and Practice. In 2004, I was inducted as a Fellow of ASLA. I was awarded the Ted Wirth Leadership and Service Award in 2005. The Western Planner, a publication of the American Planning Association, awarded Don the 2004 Stan Steadman Article of the Year.
