Idaho Urban Research & Design Center

The Idaho Urban Research and Design Center (IURDC), an educational and outreach program of the College of Art and Architecture, gives graduate architecture students the opportunity to live and study in Boise and to contribute to the design planning of the state's fastest growing urban area.

In addition to course work in urban design and architecture, students collaborate with professional designers, developers, urban planners and community and business leaders on projects and research that help shape Boise's cultural and metropolitan identity. Project partners include governmental agencies, arts and cultural organizations, businesses, nonprofits and residential communities.
