Dean's Message
Welcome
Thank you for your interest in Summer Design Week! As Dean of the College, I want to assure you that we are looking forward to working with you during a week focused on exploring and enjoying the design professions.
As a college dedicated to academic excellence, our goal is to introduce you to the design fields (Architecture, Art, Landscape Architecture, Virtual Technology and Interior Design) through a fast paced design experience under the supervision of University of Idaho professors and students.
About College of Art & Architecture "Create. Collaborate. Lead."
At the College of Art and Architecture we understand that a career in design or the visual arts is about much more than creating pretty drawings. It's about shaping environments to improve lives and preserve the planet’s precious resources. That's why we prepare our students to become not only thoughtful artists or designers, but also expert problem solvers who are ready to use design to develop solutions that make a difference. Graduates are equipped with ingenuity, interdisciplinary knowledge and broad perspectives to tackle today’s most challenging issues
