"This was a fun event I would be happy to attend again!"
Think Like a Designer
The Boise Art Museum has featured a wide variety of art that has captivated visitors for over 75 years. Terra Feast, Curator of Education, will present What Art Can Be. Lively discussions, examples from well-known artists and hands-on activities will inspire students to expand their own ideas of what art can be.

"I really loved Designing on the Edge. It was fascinating to understand the importance of the the way one designs landscapes. I also met new people who shared my interests in art and design. But honestly, every part of HSDD was an enriching experience."
Designing on the Edge
The collision between nature and urban design can create places that enhance man-made and natural environments, instead of compromising both. This session will challenge students to create designs that are on the cutting edge of sustainable environments.
"Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to explore different majors that I am interested in!"
Imagine and Create
Design in everyday living... In this session students will be challenged to create a model chair using everyday items and a little imagination. This exercise will encourage your ability to think fast and push creative boundaries.
