Work by Community College students taking their art/architecture and education to the next level
ELIGIBILITY
Open to students in community colleges in the Pacific and Intermountain West
MEDIA
Open to any and all traditional and non-traditional visual arts genre and media, (including painting, photography, sculpture, design, sketching, illustration, CAD etc.).

JURY PROCESS
All submissions that conform to the Digital File Specification will be printed and exhibited in the UI Reflections Gallery for the spring semester, Friday, January 28 - February 1, 2013. The jurying will be from the printed images. Award winners receiving prizes will be determined at this time. The accepted works by entrants that choice to come to the University of Idaho in the Fall 2013 will be included in the UI Welcome Exhibit in the Reflections Gallery, Tuesday, Sept. 3 – 13, 2013.
SUBMISSION CRITERIA
• All accepted work must be original.
• Submitted files must conform to the Digital File Specifications Guide
• Each artist may enter up to three works.
• FILE NAMING: All entry files (regardless of type or media) must be named with artist's last name (underscore) first name, followed by the entry number as noted on the entry form (i.e. Jones_Mike_1.jpg). Please DO NOT include any other information in the file name, such as title of work, etc.
DIGITAL FILE SPECIFICATION GUIDE
Files will be printed exactly as they are submitted. To ensure that they are competitive, they should be formatted as follows:
The long side of your image should not exceed 3400 pixels, nor the short side exceed 2200 pixels. Whichever maximum constraint is reached first should be the pixel size for your file. Examples: 2200x3000, or 1800x3400, NOT 2200x3600. Files should be formatted as a jpg at maximum quality.
They should be submitted via email to: caajuried@uidaho.edu. The email submission should include the image files and the completed entry form along with your name in the body of the email. The subject line should be “Juried Exhibit Entry.” If you email client will not allow for an email the size of your digital entries then add “1 of __” to the subject line.
