Born in Washington, D.C., in 1979 and raised in the small town of Poolesville, Md., Jason Ferguson moved to Baltimore to study art at Towson University in 1997. He continued his studies at the University of Delaware, receiving his MFA in 2006. Ferguson was hired immediately after acquiring his master’s degree to teach sculpture for the Pennsylvania State University located in State College, PA. Most recently, he has relocated to Moscow, Idaho, where he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Art & Design at the University of Idaho.
