Exploring Art and Academia

Designed for aspiring professional studio artists and those who want a career in academia, this program emphasizes an integrated approach. Specialize in an area that fits your talents or work across disciplines to explore new perspectives. This program culminates in a thesis that features a solo exhibition of your work with written explanation of the creative process, concepts and theories behind your work.

Degree Roadmap Students who graduate with a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art will complete 60 required credits toward this concept-oriented, studio degree designed for students eager to explore integrated approaches to art making and design.
